Addresses and payment methods
Sverk remembers addresses, phone numbers, email addresses and bank cards and fills them in on forms on websites. All of it is kept on this computer only: Sverk has no Google account, no Google Pay and no Google Wallet. Below is what is saved, what leaves the computer, and how to turn it all off or delete it.
Where the data is kept
Addresses, cards and other form data live in your Sverk profile on this computer. A card's number and its security code are stored encrypted, like passwords: Windows holds the encryption key.
There is no sync, so this data does not reach your other devices by itself. You cannot sign in to a Google account in Sverk, so neither Google Pay nor Google Wallet can be connected to Sverk; the links to them that Chrome has are removed from Sverk's settings.
Google learns nothing about the forms on websites. Chrome tells Google which fields every form you come across consists of. In Sverk this is off: Sverk recognises the fields itself, on the computer.
Bank cards
Cards are under Settings → Autofill and passwords → Payments (chrome://settings/payments). Sverk offers to save a card when you pay with it on a site; the Add button adds one by hand. It saves the number, the expiry date, the name on the card and the card nickname.
Sverk saves the security code (CVC) with the card while Save security codes is on — and it is on from the start. Once codes are saved, a Delete saved security codes link appears under that switch.
At first a card is filled in without any check. Turn on Verify it's you to autofill payment methods, and before filling a card in Sverk asks for what unlocks Windows: your PIN, fingerprint or face.
Loyalty cards and Card benefits are Google Wallet and Google Pay features for cards held in a Google account; in Sverk they have nothing to show.
Addresses and contact info
Addresses, phone numbers and email addresses are under Settings → Autofill and passwords → Contact info (chrome://settings/addresses). Sverk offers to save an address when you fill in a form with it on a site; the Add button adds one by hand.
When you add or edit an address, Sverk downloads the postal address rules of the chosen country from Google: which fields are needed and in what order. Google gets the country code, not the address itself; the privacy policy says so too.
Further down the same page is Verified email. Some sites confirm an email address without sending you a code: when you fill in an address on such a site, Sverk asks your email provider whether it can confirm addresses, and then asks you. If you allow it, the provider confirms the address to the site, the address appears in that list, and next time Sverk does not ask. Automatically verify your email turns this off.
Identity documents and travel
The Autofill and passwords page also has Identity docs (passports, driver's licenses, identity cards) and Travel (travel info, vehicles). In Chromium 155 such data can be saved and filled in only after signing in to a Google account, and Sverk has no sign-in: the switches in these sections are inactive, and no entry can be added.
For the same reason the Smarter form understanding switch under Autofill settings is inactive: it is about processing forms on Google's servers.
Turning it off and deleting
Autofill is turned off separately for cards and for addresses: Save and fill payment methods on the Payments page and Save and fill addresses on the Contact info page. When off, it neither offers to save data nor fills it in, and what is saved stays.
To delete one card or one address: the ⋮ menu next to it → Delete.
To delete everything at once: Settings → Privacy and security → Delete browsing data. Tick Autofill form data (if it is not there, click Show more under the list), choose All time and click Delete from this device. Saved addresses and cards go, and so does what you have typed into form fields.
